Moscow, 16/06/2015 Nekki, the company that brought Shadow Fight 2 and Vector to the gaming world, officially announces it´s program for indie developers. The company offers development, publishing and financial support for selected games on all platforms. As Dmitry Terekhin, CEO and founder of Nekki declares: “At Nekki we value creative and captivating games build by determined teams. We call on all indie developers worldwide to get in touch and present their games to us.”
For over a decade Nekki has been active in game development, delivering entertainment to different platforms and inspiring the emotions of more than 150 million players. “The main advantage for members of Nekkis indie-program is our will to share our experience with them. We are able to support a game from all business-related angles while securing the creative freedom for the developer.” comments Sergey Babaev, Director Business Development at Nekki.
Program-criteria: Creative art and determination of the team
Nekki is open to all kinds of genres and platforms. What counts are the idea and the determination of the team to carry through. Secondary sought-after-features include a small sized team of up to five members, cross platform capability with a mobile-first-approach and the realization with Unity. Games that have already been released (e.g. to Steam or mobile storefronts) can still be submitted. Adds Sergey Babaev: “We at Nekki are enthusiastic about beautiful grafics and gripping gameplay regardless of style or platform. The fact that our recent indie-game Beat Da Beat was awarded for Excellence in game design at DevGAMM 2015 only confirms this belief.”
Starting earlier this year, Nekki already agreed with indie developer 2Players to publish their innovative Bullet-Hell-Dubstep crossover-game Beat Da Beat this summer. Recently the company inked a deal with Ink Stains Games regarding their upcoming game 12 is better than 6. Nekki will publish the mobile and Mac-versions of this Wildwest-Top-Down-Shooter in late 2015.
