NGames detail the advantages of raising pets in the Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece MMO

Pockie Ninja II Original developer and publisher, NGames Ltd, has revealed the full effect of the recently released Hogyoku pet power-up system, which was developed with input from the Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece MMO's player-base.

In Pockie Ninja II Original, ninjas can find and tame a raft of pets and beasts, all inspired by characters and creatures from the popular Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece anime series'. Pets comes in two different flavors, humanoid and beast, each offering their own unique style of play.

Hogyoku - a new item earned by tackling the Schichibukai trials, or purchased from the Urahara shop - allows players to augment their pets attributes, transforming them into formidable monsters and perfect battle allies. Ninjas have the ability to imbue pets with a plethora of upgrades using the system, improving everything from their strength and defense stats, to their overall agility and stamina.

Hogyoku expands Pockie Ninja II Original's pet system by offering deep customization options for all of the games tamable creatures.

Attack minded ninjas can now choose from 8 special offensive Hogyoku's to improve their pets attacking abilities (a dose of Deathly Hogyoku mixed with the Exotic Hogyoku can have great effects on critical damage capabilities), while more defensive ninjas can take advantage of 4 massive stat-boosting Hogyoku's to transform their pets into ultimate battlefield tanks - an especially useful approach for PVE adventurers.

Through smart use of Hogyoku, powerful pets hampered by weak stamina and durability will be an irritant of the past. Furthermore, dungeons that do not allow the use of medicine to heal can be toppled much easier now, thanks to the chakra-enhancing attributes given to pets through use of the Spirits and Energy Hogyoku's.

The success of Hogyoku power-ups is not a guarantee - an ample supply of Hogyoku Essence and a pet at a lower level than the player is required to minimize the chance of failure. However, ninjas willing to experiment with their use of Hogyoku could be rewarded with special bonus effects, especially if 5 Hogyoku's are successfully attached to a single pet.
