First Doctor Who online social game extends reach with distribution platforms Kongregate, Newgrounds.com and Armor Games.
LOS ANGELES, DEC. 20 2012 – BBC Worldwide Digital Entertainment & Games is undertaking a revamped distribution strategy for Doctor Who: Worlds in Time, the first online game based on the popular television series, Doctor Who. The game, which launched widely this spring, is now available on Kongregate, Armor Games and Newgrounds.com, with more distribution deals in development. Early results from these distribution deals have shown a sizable bump in traffic and user retention.
