Hogyoku introduced to Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece browser-based MMO, allowing players to level their pets for increased stats and abilities

NGames, a leading online publisher, has introduced a new pet power-up system to Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece MMO, Pockie Ninja II Original.

Launched December 19th, Hogyoku is a new pet power-up system developed with support from the Pockie Ninja II Original player-base. Pets in Pockie Ninja II Original will now gain additional abilities and stats when given Hogyoku – a new item that can be earned by tackling the Schichibukai trials, or purchased from the Urahara shop.

In Pockie Ninja II Original, ninjas can find and tame a raft of pets and beasts, all inspired by characters and creatures from the popular Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece anime series. Pets comes in two different flavors, humanoid and beast, each offering their own unique style of play.

Ninjas assign Hogyoku power-ups to their pets by taking them to the Pet Kennel. An ample supply of Hogyoku Essence and a pet at a lower level than the player is required to minimise the chance of failure. The success of Hogyoku power-ups is not a guarantee. Hogyoku Essence can be found around the Shichibukai and Seizing Manor areas, earned by trading in Hogyoku, or bought from the Urahara shop.
