Outfits, warplanes, and game modes aplenty announced for aerial-combat MMO
Online games publisher and developer, NGames, has today announced a new expansion for strategic aerial-combat MMO, BoomSky. The update promises brand new outfits, game modes, and a mysterious new transforming warplane.
Launching soon, the newest expansion adds three new instances, brand new warplanes, extra game modes, and an achievement system to BoomSky's popular open beta testing.
Stylish players will be treated to a wardrobe full of new outfits, allowing them to traverse Boomsky's world looking more dapper than ever. Nothing screams "Death from above!” quite like a new hat and a set of clean boots.
Pilots can show off their new wears across three brand new instances, each offering a unique challenge with vast rewards on offer. Publisher NGames are keeping the exact details of these new instances under-wraps until the expansion launches, but players should prepare themselves for tough challenges and plenty of exciting action.
A mysterious new warplane has been revealed for the expansion, rumoured to be a powerful all-rounder equipped with devastating weapons and the ability to transform its appearance mid-flight.
The upcoming expansion pack also adds a progress Achievement System to the game. In the boundless universe of BoomSky, it's handy for players to have a chart to keep track of their progress and make new goals.
Between all of that adventuring, players can take a break and get friendly with their crews by participating in the all-new Seize Mode. Here, legion leaders must gather their crews into well organised teams for massive aerial combat. Seize Mode has been designed to actively encourage team play – the more a team cooperates, the better the chance they'll win.
BoomSky is a strategy-based multiplayer browser game, transporting players to the cockpits of customisable fighter planes as they tear across the sky on adrenaline fuelled adventures.
The game features colourful anime graphics, exciting backdrops and a raft of fascinating content across multiple modes of play. BoomSky's keyboard controlled air battles throw off the shackles of mouse-only browser-based gaming, lending the gameplay experience an old school flavour with a fresh graphical twist.
Interested players can sign up for free and command their own warplanes at the official BoomSky website now: http://boom.game321.com/
