Recently, a research was made in Netherlands, which is based on almost 200 men from Netherlands. According to this research, those men who get to orgasm in a short time during sex are all bringing a kind of DNA, which can control their hormone serotonin. And these men's orgasm time is half of the men who don't have such DNA.

Is prospermia a kind of mental disorder?

The answer is NO. In this research, there were 89 men who had the "primary premature ejaculation", it means they have been suffering prospermia since the first time they had sex.

Comparing to those men who don't have such problem, these men's serotonin are not active when appears in the nervous system controlling ejaculation. It means their neuronal signaling can't be sent normally.

Since it's caused by the DNA, it also means we can use gene therapy to cure it.

Sexual psychologist Paula Hall says, prospermia is not just a kind of psychological problem, although it may be caused by their sex partner. But usually, those men who suffer from primary premature ejaculation are all having fast reaction speed than common person. For example, they are all good at tennis and video games.

There isn't any medicine to cure this symptoms at the moment. But we do hope it can be cured in near future.
