A brand new month is on its way, and an exciting news will hit all the anime fans next month: according to the announcement of Japanese company Strategy&Partners, their upcoming browser-based title "Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online", which is adapted from hot anime, will unleash its closed beta in Japan next month.

Starting from June 1, Strategy&Partners will select the lucky testers on their official site. Testers will be selected in a drawing on June 15th. And, to really drum up excitement, some of the anime's famous scenes have been recreated in the browser-based game's cute "Nendoroid" style.

The browser-based game will work like a board game, with a party of magical girls traversing a randomly generated digital board as they prepare to battle Walpurgis Night. The official website boasts that the game features "every character" in cute Nendoroid-like style, with customizable parts for over 400,000 unique arrangements.
Once the player makes a contract, they roll virtual dice to move across the board, hitting penalty "barrier of the witch" spaces and beneficial treasure chests.

The closed beta of Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online will started on June 22nd, we will stay tuned on the official site to dig out more info.
