GameSalad's Web Game Engine Adds Windows Support Now

GameSalad Creator, a drag-and-drop game engine for mobile and web titles, has launched a closed beta test that now allows developers to build games with the platform on Windows systems.

Previously available to only Mac users, the cross-platform engine is billed as a game creator that allows developers to make iOS, Android, and HTML5 titles without needing to deal with code.

Since 2009, more than 300,000 developers have used GameSalad Creator and released over 60,000 titles. GameSalad claims that 15 percent of all new iOS games released last year were built with its engine.
