Today, Japanese Game Company Square Enix revealed its upcoming fantasy game: Crystal Conquest. The game is a browser game for the Japanese Yahoo! Games service, which seems to combine real-time strategy and action.
Different from the normal browser-based game, in Crystal Conquest, there are two teams of 20 players at most, trying to defeat one another using summoned creatures and special abilities in a side-scrolling brawler-type environment. Players can assign those skills from decks of cards they've assembled before going into battle.
According to Square Enix, the game will be available to all (in Japan) this summer. And an alpha test for the game Crystal Conquest will be held from April 12 through April 16. If you are interested in this game, you can apply for participating in the alpha test in the official site now.
The application for participating in the alpha test lasts from March 30 to April 9th, and an Yahoo! JAPAN ID is necessary. On April 10th, Square Enix will send emails to those lucky players who are qualified for the test. The brand new game system and the brilliant graphics are waiting for you in Crystal Conquest!
