Strike Witches, a browser-based online game, from a teaser site was launched on Friday under NHN Japan's Hangame domain. In the game, players will be able to train characters from the Strike Witches anime series and attack mysterious Neuroi enemies.

The film for the series opened in Japan this past weekend, with various promotions including a Strike Witches-branded maid cafe event being held to commemorate the opening of the military science fiction film.

Strike Witches will be playable in-browser on PC and on smartphones in Japan when it launches.
