Fans of the famed Command and Conquer Series can now rejoice as the Open Beta for the new browser-based title, Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances, has officially begun. There are no restrictions on who can join!

Although Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances was announced just a short time ago, the title appears to have moved forward into the Open Beta testing phase almost overnight. Publishers Electronic Arts have lifted all restrictions on who can join the game, meaning you can join in the fight.

However, there are some gameplay restrictions because Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances is still in a testing period. For example, you can only play the GDI faction, as the NOD faction is not a selectable one when joining the game for the first time.
