Cross-platform gaming solutions provider Game Closure has closed a $12 million Series A round led by Highland Capital Partners, with contributions from existing investors Charles River Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners and General Catalyst Partners.
TechCrunch reports Game Closure recently added analytics and multi-language translation to its SDK, with monetization structures on tap. The report adds that the startup closed its Series A round after rejecting "significant inbound acquisition interest" from suitors including Facebook and Zynga, with the latter said to offer around $100 million.
