Munich, Germany, February 6, 2012. The launch of the free-to-play strategy online game Skylancer – Battle for Horizon draws near: The test servers are ready for all players who have been chosen to participate in the closed beta phase starting today.
Interested gamers can apply to take part in the closed beta phase at www.skylancer.com. In order to test the strategy browser game from the German development studio Chimera Entertainment thoroughly, closed beta participants should have access to an up-to-date PC complete with the Silverlight plugin.

As the ruler of a flying island, the player will encounter many different, fascinating challenges in Skylancer – Battle for Horizon: building up an island, embarking on exciting quests, gathering and managing resources, unlocking new units, sending increasingly powerful units into battle, exploring the planet of Horizon, and even taking part in a race to reach the moon. The game is being created by the well-known development studio Chimera Entertainment in Munich together with the online games label GamesInFlames.
