Utrecht, the Netherlands – December 1, 2011 – Today, game developer ISOTX announced the introduction of a Player vs. Player mode (PvP) to the online tactical war game Iron Grip: Marauders. The feature will be part of a large game expansion, which will also contain a new game region, additional units, more quests, and improved resource buying tools.
PvP
With the addition of PvP, players get the opportunity to battle other gamers in direct confrontations, thus adding a whole new dimension to the game. The turn-based setup of Iron Grip: Marauders allows each player to make their moves before the turn passes on to the next person. Prior to a PvP match, gamers can decide for themselves how much time for each turn a player has, and how many units they can bring to the battle, making both quick and long battles possible.
New Region
The long-awaited Walker Boneyard territory has also been added to Iron Grip: Marauders. The region is illustrated by distinctive artwork and highly detailed game maps, all of which enhances the atmosphere within the game and gives players a look at a new part of the Iron Grip Universe. The Walker Boneyard is the first of many different areas scheduled for introduction to the game in the coming months.
New Units and Quests
While playing in the Walker Boneyard region, gamers will have a variety of special Walker units at their disposal and will come face to face with Vilhelm Gernott, a trucker who needs your help to defeat a powerful scavenger band.
Improved Resource Buying Tools
Finally, the option to buy in-game resources has been improved. Gems can now directly be exchanged for iron and gold instead of having to wait for offers on the Black Market.
