Games giant Ubisoft, in a seemingly surprise move, changed the name of its free-to-play strategy game The Settlers Online into Castle Empire. The new name comes along with a new website and the opportunity to sign up for the Closed Beta testing phase.

The new website for Castle Empire features a host of screenshots and information pertaining to the game. What's more, if you wanna become one of the Closed Beta testers, you can register in the Official Site now.

If you choose to sign up for the Closed Beta test, you will be entered for your chance to be one of the select players who get to try out Castle Empire before it is open to the public. Additionally, for those who get selected, you will get a special limited edition item when the game launches!

Castle Empire is a free-to-play, browser-based strategy game in which your goal is to create a kingdom from nothing and conquer the world. In Castle Empire Online, players are able to build a capital castle empire, namely, settlement, for settlers because they will help produce raw materials necessary to supply troops, provide support to complete quests and missions.
