Bigpoint has announced that it has dropped the beta tag for Battlestar Galactica Online, and now it's a fully launched game. Since the game has attracted over three million registered users in less than five months after its open beta, it's probably safe to say the game is indeed ready to move out of beta.

What's more, according to the information we got from the developer, the game's design and development has transitioned to the San Francisco team. With this transition, the game's beta tag is also removed now. It means Bigpoint is shifting away from making patches and optimizing performance to adding new content and features.
