Family Guy Online is Coming

Twentieth Century Fox has quietly announced their new browser-based game, Family Guy Online. The game is based on the popular television show and brings players into the world of Spooner Street and wacky shenanigans. Details are scarce right now, with the official website simply offering registration for a possible closed beta position.

So what exactly can we expect from the Family Guy Online?

According to its Facebook page and the sources at IGN, the game is due out this autumn. Not much is known yet about the game, but here's what we know so far:

• You can currently register for the closed beta on the game's site.
• The game will be 100% browser-based.
• When you register, you'll get some Clams. And there are apparently going to be two currencies in Family Guy Online, Clams and Cash.
• The game will be running on the Unity engine, which can provide you with high graphics right in your browser.

If you pre-register now, you have the chance to be one of the first in the long line of people that will also be registering in order to try out the new browser game before anyone else.
