"We are interested to see how the Arabic public will react to the game" says the games inventor Niels Wildung (22).  "We have always used our public impact to focus attention on issues such as poverty by regularly working with local homeless projects. We are currently looking for partners in Cairo." says Wildung commenting on their social commitment.

The satirical Browsergame created extensive discussions all over Europe regarding the issue of homelessness. The European media continue heated discussions over the games controversial material. Individual politicians in France and Germany have also tried - without success - to discredit the game by saying it's disparaging towards homeless people.

The controversial browsergame is played by millions of enthusiastic gamers in nine different languages, with 16 different city versions around the globe. The inventors behind the 2008 browser game of the year are the 22-year-old Hamburg entrepreneurs, Niels Wildung and Marius Follert.
