Dragoon Quest online, the java based browser SLG is entering closed beta on July 15th. Publisher 2NDMMO will start game registration on July 13th, the game registration will be closed when the register reaches 2000. The closed beta mainly focuses on game bug testing and localization adjustment. User data will be erased after the beta. Hero system is a big feature for Dragoon Quest. Player need the hero to lead the troops to attack, ambush, defend city, do quests, explore game world etc. Heroes can forge equipments, learn skills and refresh talent to become stronger. The Islamic Republic of Iran has launched its first online game. A game of interstellar conflict in the 29th century, AsmandeZ is a free browser-based game that pits the far-flung remnants of humanity against an all-conquering race of androids - the 'NeoRace.AsmandeZ is the brainchild of Behrouz Minai, El Supremo at Iran's National Foundation for Computer Games. It is his hope that AsmandeZ will inspire other Iranians to dabble in development - Minai estimates that of Iran's 10 million-odd computer users, only around 100 have the programming skills needed to create their own video games. Versions of AsmandeZ have been created in both English and Persian, and up to 5,000 users can play simultaneously.
