Hamburg, June 16. InnoGames, one of the worldwide leading developers and publishers for browser based online games, will enter the market for Social Games in the near future. Today, the company announced the launch of the public beta version of its first Social Game within the next weeks. The game works smoothly on an internal version.

"Social Games are booming just as browser based games do. We are convinced, we can reach new target groups in this market and thus enlarge our customer base", explained Eike Klindworth, Chief Games Officer at InnoGames."

Social Games run on platforms like Facebook or MySpace. The expertise "Inside Virtual Goods" assumes 200 million Facebook users who frequently play on this social network. Besides that, InnoGames will also publish the game on an external address, so everyone can join the game even without an account in a social network.

For the last few years, InnoGames finds itself in a state of constant growth and today has nearly 50 million users from more than 200 countries. The growth was accelerated in May 2010, when the British investor Fidelity Growth Partners Europe put a significant amount into the company.
