Astro Empires Launches Its 7th Server

Astro Empires, the Browser-Based Space Strategy MMOG, Launches its 7th Server, Named "Gamma". 

As done since the game was launched, 3 years ago, a new server is open every 6 months. "Gamma" is the 7th public server to be open in Astro Empires. The server opening occurred at 15:00 (UTC) on Saturday, May 30, 2009. The day was chosen for being one of the days of the week with more players online and the hour to allow both American and European players to be online for the opening. This will give new players a great opportunity to join the game on a brand new universe. 

The expectations on this new server are higher than ever, as the developers have announced a brand new layout to be launched in the next weeks, along with new languages which will be implemented. This was confirmed with over 500 players registered just on the first 3 minutes after the server was open. It's expected to reach 10.000 players in no time.
