Ikariam Christmas Party

The Ikariam staff announced the new Ikariam Christmas Party is available now.

The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is for singing loud for all to hear.

Because this is Christmas, and Christmas is a very special time of year for communities and getting together, we are going to run some very special community events this year, just for you. We will be giving you the chance to spread some Christmas cheer, and to receive some ikariam goodies.

We know we don’t all have the same skills, so we are going to be running a variety of different events. We will be running some for you pixel dudes, and other for your Shakespearean writers. We may even have one or two things up our sleeves in the future for those of you who excel in other ways. Everybody is invited to our Christmas party and we hope you help us make the most of it and most importantly have some FUN!

For those pixel artists out there, we have not one, but two competitions for you to enter.

Ikariam Christmas Signature Competition

For those of you love to have a stylish signature, we are going to give away a prize to the person who can cook up the best looking Christmas Ikariam themed signature we ever did see, as voted by the entire Ikariam Team. Dimensions allowed: 100px by 500x OR 150px by 450px Deadline: 20th December.

Ikariam Christmas Banner Competition

We seem to be struggling to get into the Christmas mood this year, and personally I think its because we do not have anything Christmassy to look at. Therefore, we are also running a competition for a FORUM BANNER. This will only be temporary, and unfortunately I cannot promise I can have it put up for you, but you can still bag yourself some goodies!

You task it to design a new forum banner, with the dimensions of: 990px x 307px. This will not be an easy task, so please do not rush this. We will vote our favorite banner, and will submit it to the board techy team to be uploaded (No promises though!). Deadline: 12th December

For you Shakespearean writers out there, we are asking you to write us up some literature to put us in the Christmassy mood.

The Night Before An Ikariam Christmas

Our first competition is an Ikariam Story. We want you to write us a short story, about an Ikariam Christmas. It can be about anything you want. This story should not exceed an A4 page of size 12pt text. The Ikariam Team will vote their favorite story. Deadline: 20th December

An Ikariam Christmas Poem.

Our final competition, for now at least, is for you to write us a short poem themed on an Ikariam Christmas. This can contain anything you wish. The Ikariam Team will vote their favorite poem. Deadline: 20TH December

Any entry received after the deadline will unfortunately be immediately discarded. Please send entries to Christmas@ikariam.com with the subject: "(Board Name) – An Ikariam Christmas Poem/The Night Before An Ikariam Christmas/ Ikariam Christmas Banner Competition/Ikariam Christmas signature Competition." Delete as applicable.

You may enter each competition only once, and you will only be able to win one category.
